EO History

Hong Kong-based Purple Pin Designs (created in 1989) launched Etienne Ozeki, a premier jeanswear collection that features distinctive design, articulated detailing, natural fibres and contemporary ergonomic shapes.

Etienne Ozeki is the leading light and a brainchild of three denim lovers from Purple Pin Designs. They are Farook Jamal, Richard Hobbs and Ben Cheung.

Details are casual but elegant, and stitching is of prime importance. Crinkled, painted and stone wash effects are emphasised and patchwork, printing and imperfect flocking are also strong features.
